Approach Pack

The Ruffwear Approach Pack is a great tool to harness a dog’s focus and provide more
mental and physical stimulation to your everyday walks or hikes. It allows for dogs to
efficiently carry weight while also being comfortable. Integrated harness enhances pack
stability and weight dispersion. Four points of adjustment allow for the pack to be well
fitted while the harness attachment provides a place to attach your leash and integrated
handle provides a secure way for assisting dogs over rough terrain/obstacles.
It’s recommended that your dog carry no more than 25% of their body weight in their dog
pack. If your dog is new to dog packs, start with a light load and work up to a heavier load
as your dog gets accustomed to wearing the pack.
